Referred to below as "we". No data protection officer has been appointed, as none of the situations in Article 37 GDPR applies.
2. What we process and why
This is an informational website. The only data we collect is what you enter in the contact form.
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Answering requests for quotations, demonstrations or information | Name, company or organisation, email, phone, model of interest and the message itself | Pre-contractual steps at your request — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR | 2 years from last contact, unless a contract follows |
| Managing the commercial relationship and after-sales | Identification and invoicing data, contact history | Performance of a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) | For the duration of the contract; 10 years for tax-relevant documents |
| Website security and abuse prevention | IP address and server access logs | Legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) | Per the hosting provider's policy, typically up to 30 days |
Fields marked with an asterisk are needed for us to reply. The "Website" field is an invisible anti-spam trap: if it is filled in, the request is discarded unread.
We do not collect special category data, make automated decisions with legal effects, or build profiles.
3. How form data travels
The form's contents are sent by email to the company mailbox hosted on the same server, and from there fall under our ordinary email handling. No third-party form platform is involved and nothing feeds any advertising tool.
A backup copy is also kept in a file on the server, in a folder with no access from the internet, so that no enquiry is lost if email delivery fails. That copy is deleted automatically after 90 days.
You also receive an automatic acknowledgement at the address you gave, quoting the message you sent.
4. Who has access
- Our staff, as needed to answer your request;
- Dominios.pt, which hosts the website and email, acting as a processor under Article 28 GDPR;
- FEIDI Motors and its network, where your request must be forwarded to the manufacturer — for special configurations, lead times or type approvals;
- Public authorities, where disclosure is legally required.
We do not sell or share personal data for third-party marketing.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
To be confirmed before publishing. FEIDI Motors is a Wuzheng Group brand headquartered in China. If requests are in fact forwarded to the manufacturer, that is a transfer to a third country without an adequacy decision, which must be covered by standard contractual clauses and described here. If no forwarding takes place, delete this section and the corresponding bullet in section 4.
Otherwise, data remains on servers located in the European Union.
6. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) only. Access to the mailbox receiving enquiries is protected by individual authentication. No measure removes risk entirely: in the event of a personal data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the Portuguese supervisory authority within 72 hours and, where the risk is high, inform you directly.
7. Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, portability of data you provided, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
Write to geral@feidi.pt or to the address in section 1. We reply within one month, extendable by two months in complex cases, and may ask for further details to verify your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) — Av. D. Carlos I, 134, 1.º, 1200-651 Lisbon · www.cnpd.pt.
8. Cookies
This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. See the Cookie Policy.
9. Web fonts
Under review. Pages load typefaces from Google's servers, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google. If the fonts are self-hosted — which is recommended and removes the transfer — delete this section.
10. Minors
This site is aimed at professionals, companies and public bodies. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
11. Consumer dispute resolution
Consumers may refer disputes to the competent alternative dispute resolution body under Portuguese Law 144/2015: CICAP — Centro de Informação de Consumo e Arbitragem do Porto, Rua Damião de Góis, 31, loja 6, 4050-225 Porto · www.cicap.pt. The Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book is also available.
12. Changes
The version in force is always the one published on this page, dated at the top. Substantial changes will be flagged on the site.
